Live-in care means a carer lives with you in your own home, full time. Because they live in with you, a carer can provide one-to-one personalised care in the comfort of your own home.

Live-in care means a carer lives in your home with you. They are helping to preserve your lifestyle and independence. This flexibility allows you to decide when you get up, go to bed have meals. There are no rigid routines like in Residential Care Homes. You can go out and about safely with our carer visiting friends or the community, something not always possible with Residential Care. Unlike hourly care a live-in carer is on hand whenever you might need them during the day and in emergency at night. The biggest difference is that our live-in carers have time to provide genuine friendship and companionship as you will spend time with same one or two carers over a long period of months.

Weekly Care costs range from £1095 – £1595 depending on the care needs. If both mum and dad need care and support and  two carers are required, then the discount on a second carer makes it even more value for money from £2,050 per week for two live-in carers. If mum and dad both need support but wish to stay at home this can represent a significant saving.

Yes, families may qualify for a direct payment from their local authority after a care and a financial assessment. If you have been assessed as having a health need then your care fees could be covered under NHS Continuing Health Care. Both can be used to fund your live-in care.

Sometimes care is needed at short notice, we can select from our team a live-in carer 3-5 days after a care assessment.

We are unable to arrange a face to face meeting with your selected carer in advance of them starting to care. However we have such a large pool of trained and qualified carers of different personalities, ages and gender that you can be absolutely sure that we have chosen the right person from all the meetings and discussions we have had prior to the care due to start. You will receive a detailed profile and up to date picture of the selected carer to study beforehand.

We select a team of 3 carers who each work on a rotating period of 4-6 weeks  of care to provide unrivalled continuity of care.

To be honest all this would have been done already after the care and home assessment. All that is needed is a spare room with a single bed, a space for belongings Wi-Fi is preferred but not essential, there is no need for an additional bathroom our carer will fit in with the family and is very flexible. ​The most important requirement is a welcoming smile and a little patience at the beginning whilst everyone settles in together and gets to know each other.

Absolutely, as a Regulated provider we are accountable and responsible to formulating a care plan and ensuring that plan is adhered to by our carer. Our client’s health, wellbeing and safety is our priority at all times. Caring is an important role we cannot leave it to chance so every carer will have to pass our training before they can care for you or a loved one.
