Ernest’s daughter Toni offers an insight into how Promedica24 have been caring for Ernest her dad.
Perhaps a good way to start is to explain how you came to learn Ernest needed extra support and his recent story and how he has been cared for before Promedica24?
Dad was unwell for a while with some health issues and was in hospital for a while. Unfortunately during this time my Mum sadly passed away which was obviously very stressful and upsetting. Dad had some respite care at the Granby Residential home in Harrogate but I needed to look for care for when he returned home.
How did you go about looking for support and care?
I spoke to a social worker and some of the nurses at the hospital and they gave some recommendations for care.
How did you find PM24 and how well did they respond?
I found Promedica24 on Facebook – Just happened to see an advertisement and thought it looked good. I contacted them and had a very prompt response from Gary their local representative and it went from there.
What attracted you to Promedica24 in the first place?
I just liked the idea of someone being with Dad and the fact that all the carers are fully meet all the appropriate training requirements needed as a regulated care provider.
