24 hour live-in care has been a great success so far. The carer provides company / companionship for my mum and ensures she eats and drinks well. The house is always clean and tidy, and my Mum is always dressed in appropriate clothes for the weather and time of year – which wasn’t always the case before! My Mum enjoys singing – having sung in a choir for most of her adult life – and the carer allows her listen to, and sing along with, music via CD player – which my Mum wasn’t able to operate when on her own.
